Jordan Commercial Bank received the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 from ScanWave Comprehensive Technical Solutions and its experts. The experts are certified as BSI ISO Lead Auditors by the British Standards Institution and qualified to carry out the final application of the requirements and issue the necessary certificates, recognizing the information security management system used in the bank and its application of the highest information security controls, standards, and management.

The certificate was given to Deputy CEO / Chief Operating Officer Mr. Alaa Qahef by ScanWave Comprehensive Technical Solutions CEO Dr. Ramzi Sunna and General Manager Tareq Batshoun, with members of the Bank’s IT and risk management team in attendance.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is among the world’s most foremost and trusted IT certifications. Obtaining it affirms the bank's compliance with information security standards and the commitment of its information systems team to data protection and its continued improvement and development of information security programs and systems.

Its requirements include the bank’s continued implementation of a wide-ranging, comprehensive program that ensures all information security controls are fully implemented and protect customer information, continually evaluating all information security risks to the bank’s services, and designing and implementing a comprehensive, effective set of information security controls on the bank’s operations and technology and for individuals.
