In pursuit of its social responsibility and support of national efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Jordan Commercial Bank has announced it has donated JD 400,000 to the Himmat Watan Fund recently founded by the Jordanian government.

Jordan Commercial Bank Chairman Michael Sayegh praised the government’s efforts in fighting the virus and minimizing its effect on the kingdom. He also emphasized the importance of private sector-government collaboration in facing these extraordinary circumstances, as well as the importance of solidarity and responsible citizenship in preserving citizens’ health and safety and defending the country and its resources.

This donation is one in a series of measures taken by the bank to support national institutions to fight coronavirus and stand with the people of Jordan.
