Jordan Commercial Bank provided the gold sponsorship for the “Mechanisms for Drying up the Sources of Terrorism Financing” Forum organized by the Union of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan, Association of Banks in Jordan, and the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, H.E Dr. Ziad Fariz. The Forum was held on 10 February at the Intercontinental Hotel Amman in the presence of Arab and international bankers and experts concerned with combating the financing of terrorism and money laundering.

In this regard, Mr. Caesar Qulajen, the General Manager of Jordan Commercial Bank, stressed the importance of the Bank’s participation in forums that bring bankers together to address the main challenges facing the banking sector including combating the financing of terrorism and money laundering in order to reach effective solutions.

In appreciation of the Bank’s sponsorship and continued support, the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks, Mr. Wissam Fattouh presented a plaque of honor to Jordan Commercial Bank.
